Death (in custody) and life on Palm Island: a feature documentary set for release in November

The Tall Man is a feature documentary about the death in custody of Cameron Doomadgee and the subsequent trial of Senior Sergeant Chris Hurley. It is based on the award winning book by Chloe Hooper.

The Tall Man was screened at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival to much acclaim , it received a standing ovation at the Adelaide Film Festival and has been drawing impressive reviews.

I feel as though people in living in Australia have a responsibility to see this documentary.

The Tall Man is set for release by Hopscotch Films on November 17 around Australia.
