Incidental but oh-so-worth-it: a clip from ‘Portlandia’

This is a clip from an episode of ‘Portlandia’, a comedy sketch filmed and set in Portland, Oregon. There are two hilarious comedians that perform most of the sketches – Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein.

Carrie Brownstein also happens to be an accomplished musician and influential figure in the underground feminist punk movement. She was a member of the now disbanded band ‘Sleater-Kinney’ and now plays lead guitar and sings for the band ‘Wild Flag’. Brownstein also has a degree in socio-linguistics, which is pretty awesome.

This particular clip is one of the funniest things I have seen on the screen in a very, very long time so I thought to share it. I hope you enjoy it as much as meshelf.
